A Perfect Pairing: Velada Latina – An elevated culinary experience at NICHE
Velada Latina” means Latin Evening — a night full of bold flavors, vibrant music, and rooftop celebration.
Come enjoy an evening of culinary delight, beverage pairing excellence and inspired live dancing. The chefs at NICHE are joining forces with Cosecha Wine and Mescal, Una Vida Tequila, Pinole Blue and Xclusive Events to bring you an evening you will not forget, all taking place at Wichita’s premier downtown rooftop event venue, Henry’s Place. Optional VIP Experience, tickets are limited! Whichever experience you choose it will be an evening to remember.

Main Dinner Location: Henry’s Place + Terrace, Cargill Culinary Theatre (VIP)

General Admission: 6:30 PM

– Dinner will include 8 Latin American-inspired tapas paired with Mexican wines, Mescals, and Tequilas. Xclusive Events will also have a cash bar available.
After Party: Salsa dancing
VIP Experience: 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM
– Live demo, tastings, and early access
– Add a little fire to this magical evening with the VIP reception in the Cargill Culinary Theatre. This exclusive experience features a live cooking demonstration, two additional food tastings paired with premium selections from our beverage partners. Whichever experience you choose, it will be an evening to remember

5:30 – 6:15 PM: VIP Experience (Pinole Blue demo/tasting)
6:15 – 6:30 PM: Transition period
6:15 PM: Doors Open for General Admission ticket holders
6:30 – 7:15: 1st round of tasting
7:15 – 7:30: 1st dance
7:30 – 8:15: 2nd round of tasting
8:15 – 8:30: 2nd dance
8:30 – 8:35: Final remarks
8:35 – 9:20: Salsa dancing

– Parking details: Complimentary parking will be available in the garage east of NICHE. Guests can access the parking garage by heading south on Topeka from Douglas and turning into the alleyway South of the Kansas Leadership Center. Parking map attached.
– Arrival time: Doors will open at 5:15 PM for VIP Experience tickets and 6:15 PM for General Admission tickets.
– Wine & spirit bottles: Available for purchase (take home only)
– How to indicate/change dietary needs: Dietary needs can be requested at ticket purchase. Guests can contact niche1@wsutech.edu for changes.
– Check-in process: Ticket holders will need to have the QR code for their tickets.
